Ornatus
2020
Acrylic, graphite, collage on paper
25 x 38.25 inches
The graphite drawing is after a plaster bust, The Age of Innocence (1897), by Alfred Drury. I photographed the bust at the V & A Museum, London. The image of the young girl is drawn, from the photogragh, on the inside cover of a found book. Ornatus means "to adorn".
